The Foundation

After winning the World Barista Championship in 2004 and the World Cup Tasting Championship in 2005, Tim Wendelboe opened his own espresso bar, training centre, and roastery in Oslo in 2007.

The goal was simple but incredibly demanding: to establish a coffee culture based on absolute quality, transparency, and a deep respect for the raw material.

The Roastery Space

Our roastery in Grünerløkka is designed to be an open, immersive environment. There are no walls hiding the process. The roasting, bagging, and brewing all happen in a shared space where the aromas of caramelizing sugars and floral Ethiopian coffees intermingle.

We believe in honest craft, and our physical space reflects that philosophy—minimal, warm, and hyper-focused on the cup.
