Beyond Fair Trade
The commodity coffee market is fundamentally broken. It rarely covers the cost of production for farmers. We do not buy commodity coffee. Instead, we operate on a strict Direct Trade model.
This means we visit our producing partners annually, cup the coffees together, and negotiate prices directly based on quality. We consistently pay multiples above the Fair Trade minimum to ensure profitability and enable reinvestment at the farm level.
